It was surely only a question of time before this happened, but at least one major college coach has said he’s done recruiting high school players and will focus entirely on the portal.
This comes from ESPN’s Fran Fraschilla who presumably has solid sources. He quotes the coach as saying this: “We’re like the NBA. We can build through free agency or through the draft. We’ll take the surer thing.”
