The coaching carousel, which was frozen in place last spring when Covid-19 hit, has resumed and the latest fall opening will apparently be at Wichita State.
Gregg Marshall is out, according to CBS’s Matt Norlander. The decision will be announced soon. Now that it’s out, we’d say by the end of the week.
Marshall has been accused of a number of things, including striking a player, choking a former assistant and other reprehensible acts. He has denied assaulting anyone.
Although Marshall doesn’t have his good points, there are echoes of Bob Knight’s departure from Indiana here.
