PHILADELPHIA – In front of more than 100,000 fans on the final day of the Penn Relays at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, the Duke track & field program took advantage of some good weather and registered a number of stellar relay performances. Out of the four relays that competed Saturday, three clocked times that ranked among the top five in the Duke records book.
“We had, on one day of the Penn Relays, four relays place in the top seven of the Championship of Americas,” head coach Norm Ogilvie said. “That was probably our best overall day, in terms of quality and placing over four different relays.
