When Julius Randle said this the other day we knew he was right. We just didn't realize how on the mark he was:
“People think because we’re basketball players and we make a lot of money and we play a game we love for a living we don’t have real feelings and we don’t have to deal with real life problems. It’s the exact opposite.”
He was speaking about teammates Reggie Bullock and Dennis Smith, who both lost family members, but probably more about Bullock. Smith’s stepmother died which is sad but relatively normal. That’s the natural order of things.
