DURHAM, N.C. – Recent Duke graduate Kevin Fraser has been elected a 2017 Laureate of the Tau Beta Pi Association, making him the first to receive the distinction from any university in the state of North Carolina.
A four-year letterwinner as a member of the Blue Devils’ swimming and diving program, Fraser graduated from Duke’s Pratt School of Engineering in May with a degree in electrical and computer engineering. He joins an elite group of only 105 Tau Beta Pi Laureates chosen nationally since 1982.
Tau Beta Pi is the only engineering honor society representing the entire engineering profession.
