DURHAM, N.C. – Duke senior wide receiver T.J. Rahming was named to The Associated Press All-Bowl team following his record-setting performance during the Blue Devils’ 56-27 win over Temple in the Walk-On’s Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La.
A native of Powder Springs, Ga., and the first Duke player to start in three bowl wins, Rahming caught 12 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns in the victory over the Owls. He broke the Independence Bowl record for receiving yards, a standard previously set by Virginia Tech’s Isaiah Ford against Tulsa in 2015, and all-purpose yards (286) while matching the bowl mark for pass receptions.
