DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University’s Taylor Racioppi will return to action with United States soccer this month as the women’s soccer standout has received an invitation to train with the U.S. Under-23 women’s national team from March 26 through April 1 in Portland, Oregon.
Racioppi, a product of Ocean Township, N.J., decided to not purse a spot on the 2016 U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team this past fall and instead compete with the Blue Devils and stay on track academically. She went on to play in only 11 matches due to an injury that forced her to miss the final 12 matches of the season.
