DURHAM, N.C. – For the second straight year, Duke University senior Rebecca Quinn has been selected by the Canada Soccer Women’s National Team to participate in the Algarve Cup, which will take place March 1-8 in Portugal.
Canada is the reigning Algarve Cup champion, after knocking off Brazil, 2-1 in the final match of the 2016 women’s international competition. It reached the final, after winning Group A with six points.
In the first match of the 2017 cup, Canada will face Denmark March 1, followed by Russia on March 3 and Portugal on March 6.
