TOKYO – Former Duke star Quinn and the Canada Women's National Team will play for the gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games after defeating Team USA in the semifinals on Monday.
Jessie Fleming converted a penalty in the 75th minute, which secured Canada's first appearance in a gold medal match at the Olympics. By reaching the Final, Canada will become just the third nation to win medals at three straight Olympic Games in the women's football tournament, joining USA (1996 to 2012) and Germany (2000 to 2008).
