DURHAM, N.C. – Following helping lead the Duke women’s soccer team to back-to-back shutouts last week, Blue Devil junior defender Rebecca Quinn was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week as announced Tuesday.
Quinn, who hails from Toronto, Canada, didn't miss a minute as the Blue Devils shutout two opponents on the road at Miami and Louisville. Quinn played all 90 minutes in a 1-0 win at Miami and then saw action in the entire 110 minutes at Louisville in a 0-0 double-overtime draw. The 5-9 defender played center back for the Blue Devils in both ACC matches.
