DURHAM, N.C. – Duke senior linebacker Koby Quansah underwent surgery on Friday to stabilize a fractured right thumb suffered in practice on Thursday. He will be out of action indefinitely.
The procedure was performed by Dr. David Ruch.
Quansah, a 6-1, 230-pound team captain from Manchester, Conn., has 102 career tackles including 9.0 tackles for loss and two caused fumbles to his credit in 35 games at Duke.
