DURHAM, N.C.—For just the ninth time in Duke men’s soccer history a Blue Devil has been selected to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Team. Junior Daniele Proch garnered first-team accolades, adding yet another award to a long list of postseason honors for the Riva Del Garda, Italy native.
Proch, one of two ACC representatives on the teams, is one of 28 selections overall and one of three juniors on the first team and one of eight juniors overall to be chosen. Only four players on the Scholar All-America list also earned All-America recognition, with Proch being the only non-senior of the quartet.
