College basketball means a lot of things to a lot of people. Take this guy for instance.
Writing in the San Diego Tribune, Nick Canepa starts his column like this:

Unfortunately, it may have had moderns/millennials who couldn’t have been watching the game 40 years ago, asking: ‘What the hell is this they’re playing?
