DURHAM, N.C. – The Palm Beach County Sports Commission announced Friday that Duke junior kicker Todd Pelino was named to the 33rd annual Lou Groza Place-Kicker Award watch list, presented by the Orange Bowl.
Pelino, who enters his third season as Duke's starting placekicker, led the team in scoring in 2023 with 92 points on 18-of-23 field goals and 38-of-38 PATs. His 92 points on the year ranked seventh all-time in program history for a single season and ranked tied for fifth in the ACC. The Cornelius, North Carolina, native enters the 2024 season having converted six consecutive field goals and 61 straight PAT attempts.
