DURHAM – Former Duke infielder Graham Pauley had his contract selected to the San Diego Padres 40-man roster and traveled with the team to Seoul, South Korea, for Opening Day. Pauley becomes the 46th Duke player to make his MLB debut in program history.
The Milton, Ga., native was selected in the 13th round of the 2022 MLB Entry Draft by the San Diego Padres after appearing in 84 games in his two seasons in Durham. During his time at Duke, Pauley produced a .278 average at the plate, collecting 83 hits, 19 doubles, 11 home runs and 45 RBI.
