DURHAM, N.C.—Duke men's soccer freshman Nick Pariano scored his first career goal with 34 seconds left to lift the Blue Devils to a thrilling 1-0 double overtime victory over NC State in their ACC and home opener Saturday night at Koskinen Stadium.
Duke head coach John Kerr captured his 200th career victory, becoming the just the second coach in Blue Devil men's soccer history to record 200 wins. His mentor, John Rennie, holds the record at 410.
The Blue Devils move to 1-1-0 on the year and 1-0-0 in the ACC.
