DURHAM – Duke men's soccer midfielder Nick Pariano has been named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week following his three goals last week, including a brace against No. 7 Syracuse, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The senior played all 180 available minutes in Duke's two games last week, as the Blue Devils picked up a 3-2 win against the College of Charleston and a 5-3 victory over the seventh-ranked Orange. A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Pariano converted from the spot against College of Charleston and then logged the first brace of his career in Duke's win against Syracuse, a multi-goal effort that included a second-half free kick that eventually proved to be the game-winning goal.
