LONDON – Duke midfielder Margaux Paolino scored for the second time in three matches as the U.S. women’s national team rounded out its run at the 2018 Vitality Women’s Hockey World Cup Sunday.
A rising junior from Villanova, Pa., Paolino put away a rebound early in Team USA’s Pool B contest against India Sunday at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. She also found the back of the cage in the United States’ World Cup opener last Sunday against Ireland.
Following a 3-1 loss to Ireland to begin the tournament, Team USA earned a pair of 1-1 draws against England and India.
