BARRANQUILLA, Colombia – A day after claiming gold in the 200-meter butterfly at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games (CACGs), 2018 Duke graduate Isabella Paez earned another podium finish.
Paez tapped the wall second in Monday evening’s 100 butterfly ‘A’ final, securing a silver medal with a mark of 1:00.04.
Competing for her native country of Venezuela, Paez won the women’s 200 butterfly Sunday evening and also took fourth in the 50 butterfly and as a member of Venezuela’s 800 freestyle relay.
Swimming events at the CACGs continue through Wednesday at the Aquatic Complex.
