DURHAM - Duke volleyball senior Ade Owokoniran has been named the Duke PNC Achievers Student-Athlete of the week after leading the Blue Devils to a 2-0 weekend. Duke swept Wake Forest and Virginia Tech over the weekend.
Owokoniran had two increadible offensive games with 27 kills total for an average of 4.50 kills per set as she hit .482 over the weekend. She only registered two hitting errors over the span of both matches. She also contributed on the defensive front with six digs and four blocks.
