When it comes to Louisville basketball, there are plenty of great players to choose from. It’s a great tradition with a lot of old school players to choose from. So without further ado:
- Wes Unseld. The guy was 6-7 and went toe-to-toe with Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. How can you not love that?
- Dr. Dunkenstein, aka Darrell Griffith. The 6-4 native of Louisville was wildly gifted and may still be the best leaper ever in the NBA.
- Clifford Rozier, who transferred from UNC. Kidding!
- Mike Grosso, who the ACC wouldn’t let in to South Carolina.
