DURHAM – Duke sophomore attackman Brennan O'Neill was named one of 25 men's nominees selected as a Tewaaraton Award Nominee Presented by AXIA Time, as announced by the Tewaaraton Foundation Thursday.
The award's selection committee, comprised of premier college coaches, picks 25 men and women for the respective nominee lists with five finalists selected from each group. The Tewaaraton Award is recognized as the pre-eminent lacrosse award, annually honoring the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States.
O'Neill is one of three sophomores on the list and one of six student-athletes from the ACC.
