WASHINGTON, D.C. – Duke junior attackman Brennan O'Neill was named the recipient of the 2023 Tewaaraton Award as the nation's top men's lacrosse player. O'Neill collected the award at a banquet held at the University Club in the nation's capital.
O'Neill is the third Blue Devil to earn the prestigious honor, joining Matt Danowski and Ned Crotty on the short list. The other finalists included CJ Kirst (Cornell), Tucker Dordevic (Georgetown), Pat Kavanagh (Notre Dame) and Connor Shellenberger (Virginia).
