DURHAM – Duke sophomore attackman Brennan O'Neill and graduate student goaltender Mike Adler were selected as the respective ACC Men's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week following their outstanding performances in a 2-0 opening weekend for the Blue Devils.
The Blue Devils kicked off 2022 with a 21-12 victory over Robert Morris and followed that with a 15-7 win versus Inside Lacrosse preseason No. 17 Vermont. The pair of wins pushed Duke's home win streak to 13 dating back to Feb. 1, 2020.
O'Neill paced the Duke offense with nine goals in the two games.
