It was a pretty solid effort by the U.S. but the French made it much closer late in the 4th quarter.
The U.S. led for most of the game but in the 4th, the French outscored the Americans, 28-19.
Clay Thompson broke out of his shooting slump and scored 30 on 9-16 from the floor. Kevin Durant added 17.
Duke product Kyrie Irving had 10 points and 12 assists.
The U.S. came through on the line again, hitting 20-27, compared to 10-13 for the French.
