Okafor, Winslow Make NBA Debuts

DURHAM, N.C. – Former Duke standouts Jahlil Okafor and Justise Winslow made their NBA debuts last night in memorable fashion. Okafor finished the night as the Philadelphia 76ers’ leading scorer with 26 points during a 112-95 loss to the Boston Celtics. Winslow had five points and seven defensive rebounds in the Miami Heat’s 104-94 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

During Miami’s win over Charlotte, Winslow electrified the crowd with a dunk in the second quarter.

Okafor, Winslow and current Minnesota Timberwolves guard Tyus Jones helped Duke win their fifth national championship in 2015 before declaring for the NBA Draft.
