DURHAM, N.C. — The Atlanta Tipoff Club released the 50 names on the Citizen Naismith Trophy Women’s Watch List Monday with Duke women’s basketball junior Leaonna Odom selected.
The ACC led all leagues with 11 selections, while the SEC was second with 10.
Odom, a product of Lompoc, Calif., is coming off collecting a double-double Sunday in the season opener at Northwestern with 14 points and 14 rebounds. She hit 6-of-12 field goals in her debut.
She closed her sophomore campaign in strong fashion averaging 21.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in three NCAA Tournament games.
