DURHAM, N.C. – A day after garnering ACC Player of the Week honors, Duke University women's basketball senior Leaonna Odom was selected the United States Basketball Association (USBWA) Ann Meyers Drysdale Women's National Player of the Week Tuesday.
Odom helped lead Duke to victories at Syracuse and at home against Georgia Tech this past week as the Blue Devils have won four out of the last five contests. Riding a two-game winning streak, Duke (11-9, 5-4 ACC) will next host seventh-ranked NC State Sunday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m.
