DURHAM, N.C.--Duke men's lacrosse head coach John Danowski and assistant coach Matt Danowski broke down the clearing game in the November installment of the monthly Duke coaching clinics.
They discussed "To Clear or Not to Clear" and talked about the basic principles of clearing, the skills necessary and then discussed specific plays the Blue Devils run when going against various rides. The clinic finished with video breakdown of practice and games to display how to clear with visual evidence.
The clinic opened with a piece from legendary football coach Bear Bryant about how to get the most out of each of his players.
