DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke volleyball team dropped a hard-fought battle to Tobacco Road rival North Carolina, 3-1 (25-22, 24-26, 18-25, 20-25) Thursday evening in Cameron Indoor Stadium. With the setback, the Blue Devils drop to 10-15 (4-9 ACC) while the Tar Heels improve to 12-11 (9-4 ACC).
"We're disappointed because we wanted to come out on top," head coach Jolene Nagel said. "Our team is working hard and getting better all the time. We have to stay together as a team and keep working hard every day. We have five matches left and if we keep getting better, that will be very wonderful.
