DURHAM – Duke head football coach Manny Diaz announced Tuesday that Jeff Norrid will join the Blue Devil gridiron program and serve as an assistant coach. Norrid will coach Duke's offensive line.
Norrid brings over 20 years of coaching experience to Durham, including 10-plus years spent in the Southeastern Conference under Lane Kiffin, Guz Malzahn, Houston Nutt, and Nick Saban. Norrid's resume includes three BCS National Championships, three SEC Championships, a Conference USA Championship, and a Sun Belt Conference Championship.
Norrid comes to Durham after a three-year stint (2021-23) as the offensive line coach and run game coordinator at the University of Louisiana.
