DURHAM, N.C. – Duke senior Dwayne Norman has undergone the transition from safety to linebacker and has enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career following the switch.
Coach David Cutcliffe’s Duke Football Show caught up with Norman, Cutcliffe and redshirt senior safety Jeremy Cash to talk about the movement nearer the line of scrimmage. Redshirt senior Kelby Brown, who suffered a career-ending knee injury and is now a student assistant coach, also talked about the progress Norman has made in his new position.
Norman leads the Blue Devils with 51 tackles and ranks second on the squad with 6.
