NEW LONDON, N.C. – Junior Chandler Eaton opened with a Duke ACC Championship record eight-under 64 on Thursday morning, and the No. 9 Duke men’s golf team is tied for second place after 36 holes of the 2019 ACC Championship.
Due to impending rain on Friday, the teams played 36 holes on Thursday at the Old North State Club in New London, N.C., with the final round set for Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m. There will be no play on Friday.
The Blue Devils held the opening-round lead after posting a 17-under 271 in the morning, led by Eaton’s 64.
