FORT WORTH, Texas – Sophomore Adrien Pendaries and junior Chandler Eaton each carded even-par rounds of 70 on Sunday and the No. 9 Duke men’s golf team sits tied for fifth after 18 holes at the Nike Golf Collegiate Challenge at the Colonial Country Club.
The Blue Devils shot 285 as a team and enter Monday’s second round just four strokes back of No. 16 Vanderbilt. No. 13 Clemson and Wake Forest are each one back, No. 8 Texas is two back, while Oregon is tied with Duke on a tightly-packed leaderboard that saw no team shoot under par Sunday.
