RALEIGH – Behind a 46-point second half, No. 9 Duke surged past NC State, 79-64, at PNC Arena on Monday night. The Blue Devils (24-6, 15-4 ACC) got a team-high 21 points from Jeremy Roach and Sean Stewart turned in a career day, scoring a career-high 12 points, blocking a career-high three shots and reeling in five rebounds.
Two other Blue Devils joined Roach and Stewart in double-figures, as Jared McCain erupted for 14 second-half points en route to 16 total points and Tyrese Proctor scored 11 points, all in the opening 20 minutes.
