ATLANTA, Ga. – In a place where the Blue Devils have struggled recently, the ninth-ranked Duke women's tennis team captured a 4-3 win on the road at 26th-ranked Georgia Tech on Sunday inside the Ken Byers Tennis Complex in Atlanta, Ga.
Heading into the match, Duke had dropped five straight at Georgia Tech and seven out of the last eight, but the Blue Devils came out with an impressive performance by winning the doubles point and three out of the first five singles matches to clinch the victory.
Duke moved to 15-2 overall and 5-1 in the ACC, while Georgia Tech dropped to 7-6, 2-4.
