DURHAM – The eight-ranked Duke women's tennis team returned home to Ambler Tennis Stadium Monday morning and collected a 6-1 victory over Notre Dame in ACC action.
With the victory, the Blue Devils improve to 11-4, 6-3 in the ACC, while Notre Dame dropped to 9-11, 3-9. Duke also collected its 54th consecutive home victory, which continues to lead all Power Five Conference teams.
"It was not easy with our schedule and coming out on a Monday morning at 10 a.m., is highly unusual for us," said head coach Jamie Ashworth. "I thought we did a good job getting back late Saturday night and then kind of a quick turnaround with an early practice yesterday.
