DURHAM – Off another powerful offensive performance, the eighth-ranked Duke women's lacrosse team secured a 20-4 victory over Wofford Thursday afternoon in Koskinen Stadium.
With the victory, the Blue Devils improve to 5-0, their best start since 2015 when Duke finished the season 16-5 (5-2 ACC) and went to the NCAA semifinals.
As its proven all season, Duke scored fast and furiously as the nation's leader in scoring offense. Kimel's squad received scoring contributions from 12 different Blue Devils. Duke has scored 20 or more goals in all five games this spring.
Offensively, Duke was led by graduate student Catriona Barry with six points off of five goals and one assist while senior Maddie Jenner added three goals.
