DURHAM – Behind another dominant offensive performance, eighth-ranked Duke cruised to a 20-3 victory over Davidson Sunday afternoon in women's lacrosse action.
With the win, the Blue Devils improve to 10-1 and hand the Wildcats their first loss of the season (6-1). Duke's 10-1 record is tied for the best start in 11 games since 2015 when Kerstin Kimel's squad reached the NCAA semifinal game.
Senior Maddie Jenner saw a historic afternoon, breaking Duke's all-time draw control record. With her 11 today, she now owns 515 career draw controls, surpassing the previous record of 512 held by her sister, Olivia.
