DURHAM, N.C. – After moving to No. 8 nationally in the polls this week, the Duke women's soccer team erupted for a season-high seven goals in a 7-0 shutout win against Missouri on Thursday evening at Koskinen Stadium. Five different Blue Devils scored on the night with sophomore Mia Minestrella coming off the bench to tally a career-high two goals.
The Blue Devils (5-1-0) won their fifth straight contest and moved their shutout streak to 485:48 minutes, which is the sixth-longest streak in school history (since 2002).
How It Happened
- After Missouri took the opening shot of the match that went off the crossbar, the Blue Devils came back to take the next three shots before getting on the board at the 19:04 mark.
