No. 7 Duke Surges Past East Carolina, 19-9

DURHAM – The seventh-ranked Duke women's lacrosse team secured its sixth victory of the season with a 19-9 win over East Carolina Monday at Koskinen Stadium.

With the dub, head coach Kerstin Kimel's squad improves to 6-0 this spring, its best start since 2015 when Duke finished the season 16-5 (5-2 ACC) and went to the NCAA semifinals. Duke is averaging 21.83 goals per game to rank first nationally.

Duke's offense was led once again by graduate student Catriona Barry with five points off of four goals and an assist.
