DURHAM – Six Blue Devils scored in double figures and No. 7 Duke shot 45 percent from three-point range in a 92-52 win over Gardner-Webb Tuesday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Blue Devils (4-0) finished 36-of-63 from the field (.571) and had 11 players see action. After the two teams traded early baskets, Duke grabbed a 14-13 lead with 11:56 left in the first half and never looked back, holding a double-digit advantage over the final 25 minutes of regulation.
Freshman Trevor Keels had it going offensively from the jump, hitting 4-of-6 three-pointers and 6-of-9 overall for a game-high 18 points.
