DURHAM – No. 7 Duke (24-9) fell to William & Mary (23-10), 4-3, on Tuesday at Jack Coombs Field, ending a five-game winning streak for the Blue Devils.
Duke opened up the scoring in the bottom of the first inning, as Logan Bravo narrowly missed a grand slam to score Zac Morris from third. The Tribe responded in the top of the second inning scoring three runs to take the lead.
In the bottom of the sixth, Duke began to chip away at the deficit as Wallace Clark singled through the right side to score AJ Gracia from second.
