PITTSBURGH, Pa. – No. 7 Duke (26-10, 11-7 ACC) fell to Pittsburgh, 11-10, in the series finale at Charles L. Cost Field on Sunday.
The Blue Devils trailed 1-0 after the first inning, before junior Devin Obee hit a towering solo home run to center field. The Panthers responded with a handful of runs of their own, before Duke was able to score four runs in the fifth and sixth innings to extend the lead.
Pitt continued to battle back, scoring one run in the sixth, three in the seventh and three in the eighth to take the lead.
