SOUTH BEND, Ind. – No. 7 Duke dropped a 19-11 decision to No. 20 Notre Dame in quarterfinal action at the 2022 ACC Women's Lacrosse Championship in South Bend, Ind.
With the setback, the Blue Devils drop to 15-3 overall, while the Fighting Irish improve to 9-8.
Notre Dame disrupted Duke's high-scoring offense Friday afternoon despite graduate student Abby Landry's career day. Landry finished the day with a career-high five goals while sophomore Katie DeSimone tallied four points off of two goals and two dimes.
