DURHAM – The seventh-ranked Duke women's lacrosse team captured a 21-10 victory over Penn in non-conference action Sunday afternoon at Koskinen Stadium.
With the victory, the Blue Devils improve to 8-1 and stay undefeated at home as the Quakers drop to 2-4 overall.
Duke's offense was led by sophomore Katie DeSimone with a tied for career-high seven points off five goals and two assists. Four additional Blue Devils tallied hat tricks, spearheaded by Olivia Carner's three-goal performance.
Carner tallied eight points in two games while DeSimone added 10 in a highly successful weekend for the Blue Devils.
