WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The sixth-ranked Duke women's lacrosse team secured a 23-5 victory over William & Mary Friday evening in Williamsburg, Va.
With the victory, the Blue Devils remain undefeated (3-0) and are outscoring their opponents 70-13. Duke dominated the final three quarters as they outscored the Tribe 15-2.
Thirteen different Blue Devils registered points in the win, led by graduate student Catriona Barry and sophomore Katie DeSimone with six (5G, 1A) and five (4G, 1A) points, respectively. Barry's five goals today tie a career high that was set last weekend at Elon.
