No. 6 Duke Falls to Rider on Tuesday

DURHAM – No. 6 Duke (13-3) scratched across two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning, but fell to Rider (2-9), 6-2 on Tuesday.

The Broncs opened the scoring in the top of the first inning scratching across two runs to take an early lead. They continued to score runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings, before the Blue Devils pitching staff settled the game down.

In the top of the ninth, AJ Gracia singled through the right side to score Harrison Rodgers from third and Devin Obee grounded out to third base to score Logan Bravo.
