DURHAM, N.C. – The fourth-ranked Duke women’s tennis team celebrated seniors Ellyse Hamlin and Kaitlyn McCarthy at senior day as the Blue Devils defeated Boston College, 4-0, Sunday in Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center. With the win, Duke improves to 21-2 overall and 13-1 in ACC action as Boston College falls to 15-9 and 5-9 in conference play.
“This weekend was good for us,” head coach Jamie Ashworth said. “We had a couple of dominating wins which is what we needed. We wanted to come out and set the tone for the upcoming week.
