DURHAM – Fourth-ranked Duke women's soccer opened the 2023 campaign Thursday evening at Koskinen Stadium with a 2-0 victory over West Virginia. The win for the Blue Devils marked the 450th in program history.
Duke sophomore Kat Rader and senior Katie Groff tallied goals, while senior transfer Leah Freeman posted her 19th career shutout and first as a Blue Devil.
